On 11 November 2025, C asean and SX hosted the C asean Special Talk: The Circular Economy – Navigating the Future of Sustainability at C asean Samyan CO-OP. We were honored to welcome Assistant Professor Dr. Aidan Wong from Singapore Management University (SMU) invited participants to rethink their role in sustainability—shifting from passive consumers to active contributors shaping a circular future.
Dr. Aidan emphasized that amid economic uncertainty and resource scarcity, circular thinking can spark innovation and help extend the lifespan of everyday products. From packaging and clothing to electronic devices, he showed how small, intentional choices can reduce waste and ease the burden of overconsumption.
The future is calling us to be the changemakers who can drive practical and sustainable impact for our world.
