The 2nd ASEAN club activity of Thaibev was successfully held on July 13th, 2023, under the theme of "Inspired Food in ASEAN-Vietnam" with approximately 80 participants both online and onsite.
Under the vision of enhancing connectivity and collaboration among ASEAN nations and youth, this event was flourishingly conducted with a lot of insightful knowledge of Vietnam, the famous tourist destination, amazing Vietnamese culture, a live cooking demonstration, enjoying the tasty local food and Vietnam's best-selling beer, Saigon Beer together.
Mr. Shaun Pham, Owner and chef of "Son of Saigon: Vietnamese Food Street & Cafe" a Vietnamese restaurant in Bangkok, described his home country as a magnificent local street food and breathtaking natural country. Mr. Shaun also exhibited his professional cooking skills for Vietnamese Pizza in front of the audience, and the participants also got the chance to cook and try the tasty pizza together.
Mr. Saravich Jarurangsun, one of the Thaibev employees who got the opportunity to work in Vietnam, shared his remarkable experience of working abroad and his culture shock moment in this country. Mr. Saravich said "Vietnamese people drink beer like drinking water".
This memorable event ended with a lot of smiles and satisfaction. The attendee also had a great time participating in the competition and winning various prizes with a total net value of 2500 THB.
