On 30 July 2025, C asean Lanna at Chiang Mai University was buzzing with ideas at our SE Talk: “From Trace to Tourism.”
We welcomed two inspiring Win Win WAR Thailand social entrepreneurs—Ms. Luckhana Sanbungko (BananaLoei) and Ms. Jirawan Khamsao (Tinniyom Chiang Dao)—who shared how “returning home” sparked tourism projects that grow the economy and preserve culture, crafts, nature, and family traditions.
Participants got hands-on in a workshop simulating real community fieldwork—interviewing locals, mapping cultural assets, and designing sustainable tourism models.
The day left us all inspired, equipped, and reminded that going “home” can spark lasting, positive change.
