The evening of 7 August 2026 served as a meaningful tribute to the spirit of ASEAN, honoring nearly six decades of shared progress, enduring partnerships, and collective achievements that have shaped our region.
A huge congratulations to Ms. Thet Tant Eain from Myanmar, the Winner of the ASEAN Youth Speech Contest 2026, for sharing such a powerful message and bringing your incredible voice to ASEAN.
C asean would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Vathayudh Vichankaiyakij, Acting Director-General of the Department of ASEAN Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and H.E. Mrs. Millicent Cruz-Paredes, Ambassador of the Philippines to Thailand, for their wonderful congratulatory remarks.
